My friend said the universe doesn’t operate off favoritism, it’s not phased by your desired to want to dictate your awakening. 

The universe doesn’t play favorites, and it doesn’t negotiate terms when it comes to awakening. It moves through you like an unstoppable force, indifferent to whether you’re ready or comfortable. You don’t get to dictate how or when it happens. You can resist, you can try to control it, but ultimately, awakening unfolds on its own terms.

The universe operates on principles, not personal preferences. It’s not swayed by entitlement or the idea that you deserve an easier, softer transformation. Awakening isn’t a tailored experience designed to meet your emotional expectations, it’s a dismantling. It removes everything false, whether you want it to or not. That’s why people struggle; they want the enlightenment without the destruction, the expansion without the loss. But you can’t micromanage the process.

If the universe catered to personal timelines or selective awakenings, people would only choose what feels good. But true awakening isn’t about what feels good, it’s about what’s true. And truth, by its nature, is disruptive. It doesn’t care if it ruins your plans, relationships, or reputation. It doesn’t wait for convenience. It simply is.

Once you step into that current, you realize that control was always an illusion. The only choice you have is whether you surrender to it or fight against it. But either way, the shift is happening.
