If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

Hi, Mom this me!

It’s been well over 36 years since I saw you last. How are you? I miss you so much and think about you all the time.

Mom, I want to invite you back to earth for dinner, I know you busy with family where you are.

Ps. Tell everyone I said hello!

Anyway, I want to have you over for dinner. You don’t have to cook… “unless you want to.” I miss your cooking but that’s not the focus of our dinner.

I just want to sit and hold you and talk to you for one night. It will be our “mother-daughter time together. I know when you were here, you was always busy taking care of eight children. You were tired often and I could see it on your face.

You never gave up on us and you stayed Momma. You did your best and I want to tell you how much I appreciate you and all you did to take of me. I can’t speak for my siblings but we’re all 60 and above so there’s that.

Listen Mom, when you get here, I am sure you will be in the best of health because you beat cancer and now it’s out here messing with other people. So when you come can you bring us the cure so no one else has to loose their Mom like I did to this destructive disease.

I know you fought and died!but, Mom you did beat it because, even though it escorted you to where you are now, it couldn’t stay and mess with you there. So yes you did beat it. I just want others to know how it is to live without this destructive disease while they’re still here.

The other thing is, I want you to meet your grandkids, because when you left they were both under six and don’t remember you as well as they would have like to. Also I have two grandchildren and they would love you and vice versa. So when you get here we have a busy schedule planned because it’s only dinner.

So at the dinner it will be me, my children and grandchildren. That’s it!

I know it’s dinner is not a long time, but Mom having you to hold and talk to for any amount of time is worth it. I love you and see you soon.
