What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

I think we take a lot of things for granted these days. There’s a great possibility we don’t care or value the simplest things anymore. Life is complicated. But everyday I wake up the first thing I do is write something.
I have been a writer since I was in elementary school and I have not stopped since. It’s a luxury I can’t afford to loose, but it happens everday. We get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, and sometimes, the simple act of putting pen to paper gets pushed aside.
Writing is my sanctuary, my escape from the chaos of the world. It allows me to express my thoughts, process my emotions, and create worlds that are entirely my own. I can’t imagine having all these thoughts and ideas stuck in my head with no way to express them. I don’t talk very much these days, especially in ways that express my deepest thoughts, that is a relationship I have left to pen and paper.
In the quiet moments of the morning, before the day’s demands set in, I find solace in the rhythmic flow of words. The stillness of the dawn, the soft rustle of pages, and the gentle scratching of my pen create a symphony that calms my mind and fuels my spirit.
Writing is more than just a hobby; it’s a necessity. It’s a way for me to connect with myself, to explore the depths of my imagination, and to document the experiences and dreams that shape my life.
In a world that’s constantly moving, writing gives me a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of the present. It’s a luxury that costs me nothing but time, yet it enriches my life in ways that money can’t buy. I can’t live without it.
So, no matter how busy life gets, I make it a point to carve out time for my writing. It’s an essential part of who I am, and I can’t imagine living without it.
